ALEXIS DEBOER (signed 8 November): Bellevue High School, Bellevue WA | Utility - Infield, Pitcher

Alexis joins UW softball the daughter of Husky Football Head Coach Kalen DeBoer. She batted over .600 her junior year (2023) and hit 12 home runs over 18 games. Coach K is credited as being a sort of personal mentor and trainer in her rapid hitting development since he was once a baseball player at Sioux Falls. When he isn't managing 100 players, he enjoys sunny afternoons watching his daughter light up the field on both sides. It's no secret football coaches rarely get a break, but somehow Coach K finds it within himself to hold meetings on the phone whenever football bleeds into softball.

2023 was the first time she pitched and she even earned a complete game win this past Spring (2023), recording nine strikeouts and two hits.
