Husky coach Chris Petersen broke big news in his press conference this week. When asked if star left tackle Trey Adams would return next season, he stated, "I think that’s the plan right now. But things are always fluid." The absence of Adams has hampered the line all year. Adams was expected to lead a veteran line with athleticism and experience. Senior Kaleb McGary will graduate from the other bookend of the line, but Adams should anchor the left side if he is able to fully recover from the back injury that has kept him out all year. Adams was projected as a first-round NFL draft pick before the season, so a return to help would help him in the long run as much as it would help the Huskies next year.
