Friday Dots: Waiting Game

Will he or won’t he?

Football Dots

Oh, I need more than that?

  • Footballscoop was among the first to report that the 3 primary candidates to replace Nick Saban at Alabama are Kalen DeBoer, Florida State’s Mike Norvell, and Bama OC Tommy Rees.
  • Kalen DeBoer was originally scheduled to go in-studio at KJR this morning and KJR very heavily publicized that fact. He then cancelled this morning. It’s not what you’d call a great sign.
  • Husky analyst Paul Creighton is leaving for an on-field position at Northwestern.

Basketball Dots

  • Washington played their best game in Pac-12 play so far last night in an 82-67 win over Arizona State. Sahvir Wheeler had 24 points and 8 assists while Braxton Meah had a 10 points and 14 rebounds double-double.
  • The Women’s Basketball team will return to action hosting Washington State at noon on Sunday. They already played the Cougs in Pullman and held on for a narrow win after a furious comeback attempt by Wazzu in the final minutes.
