Recruiting Roundup: Huskies Offer A Transfer Linebacker

Merry Christmas Eve Husky fans. Today will be a somewhat short recruiting roundup (with the early signing period over and the team in the playoffs).

With 15 signees plus 4 transfers in the boat there will likely be some more additions in the coming months from the transfer portal (not so sure if there will be any additions from HS left). Probably the positions that will most likely be targeted are: DT, TE, WR (2 spots likely), LB, and S. We should see some movement after the first of the year and after the playoffs end (coaches will have some more time to focus on recruiting and roster building).

The Husky staff just extended an offer to a transfer portal linebacker (whose name should be familiar). Xe’ree Alexander, a transfer linebacker from Idaho, was offered by the Husky staff yesterday. As a freshman at Idaho Alexander had 74 tackles and 2 forced fumbles. Alexander has had offers extended from WSU, OSU, Minnesota, and Cal since he entered the portal. With the loss of both Eddie and Ralen after this season the Husky staff are trying to add some talent to help the room (Alexander will have 3 years of eligibility left on the field or 4 if he redshirts).

That is the only piece of news that I wanted to share today and I did want to wish everyone a merry Christmas and I hope everyone is spending time with loved ones.
