Huskies land 2024 QB

A little less conversation, a little more Dots, please

All this aggravation ain’t satisfactioning me

  • Washington landed Mississippi State transfer QB Will Rogers over the weekend. Rogers has ample experience in the SEC. While Rogers can’t match Michael Penix’s arm strength, he takes care of the ball and has shown an ability to read defenses and work through his progressions effectively. Christian Caple has a profile of Rogers and how he will likely fit into the UW offense next year.

  • The Huskies got another big transfer addition on Sunday. Arizona State defensive lineman B.J. Green committed to the Dawgs despite almost no whispers connecting him to UW before the commitment. Mike Vorel talks about the commitment and it looks like Green could be a solid replacement for Bralen Trice on the edge.

  • UW men’s basketball almost never loses to Seattle U, but the Redhawks pushed the Huskies to the limit. It took two overtimes for the Dawgs to take down the Redhawks 100-99. Sahvir Wheeler came off the bench and tallied 14 assists in the win to go with 22 points from Keion Brooks.

  • Husky women’s basketball had no such trouble maintaining their undefeated record. The Huskies clamped won defensively to beat St. Mary’s 64-32. Unbelievably, it was the 5th time already this year that the Huskies have held an opponent to under 30% shooting for the entire game.
