A plan is only as good as those who see it through. Star Wars - The Clone Wars, Season 1, Episode 4

UW’s football team talked during the offseason about winning the Pac-12. Now they have just one step left to achieve that goal.

Football Dots

  • Rome Odunze is one of 3 finalists for the Biletnikoff Award. The others are Marvin Harrison, Jr. (Ohio State) and Malik Nabers (LSU).
  • Michael Penix, Jr. is a finalist for several national awards including the Walter Camp Player of the Year, the Maxwell Award (for the Nation’s Most Outstanding College Football Player), and the Davey O’Brien Award (for the best QB). Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix are the other finalists for the Davey O’Brien Award.
  • For those worried about UW playing on grass in the Pac-12 Championship Game-don’t.
  • Tony Castricone with some UW history (that we hope repeats itself).

UW Athletics Dots

  • The UW Men’s Basketball team gets a win over UC San Diego. Max has a review of the game here. And there’s a review of the game from 247Sports here.
  • Kierstyn Barton and Katy Wessels both make the All-Freshman Volleyball Pac-12 team.
  • Rome Odunze asking for support for UW’s NIL through Montlake Futures.
  • A couple of UW Men’s soccer players earned Academic All-District honors.
