It is now Week 12 of the NFL season. I hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving! With that said, there was pro football on 4 different days of the week this week, so without further ado, let’s get right into it!

On Thanksgiving morning, the Lions took on the Packers at Ford Field. For the Lions, Levi Onwuzurike recorded 1 solo tackle, as the Packers emerged victorious 29-22. To cap off the Thanksgiving slate, the Seahawks took on San Francisco at Lumen Field. Will Dissly hauled in a single catch for 21 yards on his only target as the Seahawks were beaten by the 49ers, 31-13.

Moving on to Sunday’s games, in the morning window, Cincinnati hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers. In this game, we have achieved the greatest play of the season so far from our pro Dawgs! With 10:36 left in the second quarter, Jake Browning took the under center snap, rolled out, and found Drew Sample on a block-and-release route, which he then proceeded to take 11 yards for the score, running into his own offensive lineman in the process.

It was the first time the two combined for a touchdown since November 3rd, 2018 against Stanford which coincidentally also went for 11 yards. That touchdown was Sample’s only catch of the day, while Browning finished with a line of 19-26, 227 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. The Bengals fell to the Steelers, 16-10. That Husky-to-Husky connection gets my vote for Pro Dawg play of the week! Moving to Tennessee, the Titans took on the Panthers in a cross conference clash. Elijah Molden recorded 4 tackles, 3 solo, as the Titans beat the Panthers 17-10.

The Bucs and their defensive front went to Indianapolis to visit an old friend (at least Joe Tryon-Shoyinka’s old friend), Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew. For his part, Tryon-Shoyinka got a sack, to go along with his 2 total tackles. Despite being listed as active, neither Greg Gaines nor Vita Vea recorded any stats, as the Colts beat the Bucs, 27-20.

In a low scoring affair in New Jersey, the Giants took on the Patriots. Myles Bryant recorded 4 tackles, all solo, and 2 of them for loss, to go with a pass deflection, as New England dropped another game, 10-7. Switching gears, we go out to Inglewood as the LA Rams took on the Arizona Cardinals. This was a much higher scoring game, as Puka Nacua hauled in 4 catches for 27 yards for the Rams. On the defensive side of the ball, Budda Baker paced the Cardinals in tackles, with 9 total and 6 solo. The Rams ended up beating the Cardinals 37-14.

Let’s now go to Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, which hosted the Raiders and Chiefs today. For the Raiders defense, Marcus Peters recorded no stats, while Trent McDuffie recorded 2 tackles, both solo, and added a pass deflection to go with a QB hit for the Chiefs, as they won 31-17.

On Monday Night, the Vikings will take on the Bears as Byron Murphy and Kyler Gordon will both be featured on their respective defenses. Also a bit of late breaking news: per Adam Schefter, the Raiders have released Marcus Peters. You can read more about that here, and we will have any news updates as to his new landing spot in subsequent reports.
