Happy Monday Husky fans. The Huskies got some welcome news today when 2025 3 star QB Jackson Kollock from Laguna Beach HS, CA committed to UW over offers from Cal, Minnesota, and Colorado. Listed at 6’4” and around 220 pounds, Kollock fits the bigger frame that the Husky coaches have been looking for in quarterbacks that they are bringing in. So far this season Kollock has thrown for over 2,500 yards and 38 touchdowns. The Husky coaches saw Kollock at a camp earlier this year and decided to offer him. 247sports has Kollock rated as the 29th best quarterback in the 2025 class, and the 62nd best player in California next year. Kollock was up on an unofficial for the Duck game and decided to commit to UW shortly after returning home.

When I watch his film you can see that he is a bigger quarterback who is mobile (think Josh Allen), and he has a good arm for the position. As the likely lone quarterback that the Huskies bring in for the 2025 class, Kollock should be able to redshirt and learn the Husky offense before he competes for playing time in 2026. Austin Mack, William Haskell, and Dermaricus Davis are the quarterbacks that should be ahead of him when he arrives (eligibility wise).

Kollock is the first commit in the 2025 class and I would expect he becomes one of the ring leaders of that class. Husky fans help me welcoming Jackson to Husky nation.
