Tatum Thomason of Liberty High Schools has been named the 2021-22 Gatorade Arizona Girls Soccer Player of the Year. The award outstanding athletic excellence along with high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character. Thomason now becomes a finalist for the Gatorade National Girls Soccer Player of the Year award to be announced later this month. Thomason was named the Arizona Interscholastic Association's 6A player of the year and also was named to The Arizona Republic's 2021-22 All-Arizona Girls Soccer Team earlier this year. Thomason has maintained a 3.70 GPA in the classroom and signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer on scholarship at the University of Washington this fall.
