Happy Sunday Husky Fans. The Huskies were finally able to beat Cal, albeit not in the easiest fashion. On the recruiting front it has still been relatively quiet. This last week saw the Husky coaches extend a new offer in the 2023 class.
4 star wide receiver Jurrion Dickey from Valley Christian HS, CA was offered by the Husky staff after seeing some of his junior film. Rated as the 60th best player in the 2023 class Dickey is an explosive athlete projects as a wide receiver in college. Dickey already holds offers from most of the Pac 12 schools and he looks like one of the top players in the west in the 2023 class. The Huskies would love to add Dickey and his explosiveness and right now it looks like they are recruiting him on the offensive side of the ball. The Huskies have tough competition for him though and it looks like Oregon and UCLA are his early favorites.

Head coach Jimmy lake and Outside linebackers coach Ikaika Malloe were in attendance for Lincoln versus Spanaway game. There were several recruits that were playing in that game including 5 Star 2023 defensive end Jayden Wayne (who holds a Husky offer), 3 star tight end commit Chance Bogan, and 4 star defensive back Josiah Wagoner. Both Wayne and Wagoner are major targets for the staff, but coach Lake was also there to scout and look at 4 star 2023 QB Gabarri Johnson who doesn’t yet hold a Husky offer. The Huskies are still evaluating Johnson but if I had to guess he will probably be offered
The Huskies also had some unofficial visitors on campus for their win over Cal. Some of the notable visitors in attendance including 4 star tight end commit Ryan Otton, 3 star 2023 offensive line recruit Landen Hatchett, and 3 star wideout who is a Husky commit Denzel Boston.
That is all for today and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
