Happy Sunday Husky Fans. The Huskies were able to turn things around on offense against Arkansas State yesterday. Fortunately for UW there were some big targets on campus to check out their win.
5 star 2022 offensive tackle Joshua Conerly from Rainier Beach HS, WA took in the win after heading to Ann Arbor last weekend. The general consensus has been that the Huskies have been the leader for Conerly for a while, but after an anemic start to their season and being able to check out Michigan the Huskies are probably fighting it out with Michigan in the hopes to land Conerly. Rated as the 2nd best offensive tackle in the country Conerly is still planning on visiting Alabama, Texas, and Oklahoma officially and he will probably also officially check out UW and Oregon before he makes his decision in December. There is a long ways to go but the Huskies need to continue to keep playing well to show him that he can win if he comes to UW, but also that he can be developed on the offensive line.
4 star 2023 defensive Caleb Presley was also in attendance yesterday for the Huskies win. Presley, who is rated as the 77th best prospect in the country already holds offers from USC, Oregon, Alabama, Texas, and LSU. The Huskies would love to add Presley to their 2023 class but they have some stiff competition for his commitment and there is a long ways to go in his recruitment.

3 star 2023 offensive lineman Landen Hatchett from Ferndale HS, WA was also on campus to check out the Husky win. Hatchett also made the long trip to Ann Arbor to see the wolverines beat the Dawgs. Rated as the 18th best interior offensive lineman Hatchett already holds offers from Oregon, Oklahoma, and Michigan. The Huskies have a couple of built in advantages with Hatchett (his brother is on the Huskies and also the Dawgs are the local school). Hopefully the Huskies are able to wrap up Hatchett at some point this year to jumpstart their 2023 class (which I think they will be able to).
There were several other recruits that were in the house, but the 3 above are some of the top uncommitted recruits that were on campus.
The other piece of news over the last week was that Husky coaches were on the road to check out some local prospects. Coach Jimmy Lake and Running backs coach Keith Bnonapha were at the Lake Stevens versus O’Dea to check out 2023 4 star running back Jayden Limar (who holds a Husky offer) and also 2024 4 star running back Jason Brown (who also holds an offer). Both players are at the top of the recruiting board and are being heavily pursued by the Dawgs.
That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
