Recruiting Roundup: Husky Commits & Targets Shine On The Field

Husky Commits & Targets Shine

NCAA Football: Washington at Michigan Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Sunday Husky fans. After another brutal loss for the Husky football program there are some questions that need to be answered. On the recruiting front there hasn’t been much news on the recruiting front as far as new offers this last week. However, on a positive note some Husky commits and Targets have been shining on the field:

2022 Husky defensive back commit TJ Hall from San Joaquin HS, CA had a good game the other with 2 picks and 2 touchdowns. Hall, who is being recruited as a defensive back for the Huskies but he has the ability to play on offense. It looks like he is going to probably see a bump in his recruiting rankings when the next rankings come out.

4 star 2024 running back recruit Jason Brown from O’Dea HS, WA has been tearing up things on the field. In his first week Brown rushed for 284 yards and three touchdowns in O’Dea’s win over Union HS and last week against Kennedy Catholic HS he rushed for 70 yards on 20 carries (for 2 touchdowns). The Huskies would love to add Brown to their roster but he’s a long way away from making decision and he already holds offers USC, Oregon and the Huskies.

3 star quarterback commit Jackson Stratton from La Jolla HS, CA is also having a good season on the field. Through 3 games he has 1,127 passing yards and 14 touchdowns. Listed at around 6’4” and 205 pounds Stratton is a dual threat quarterback who has a good tool set for the Husky program (strong arm, and mobile passer).

That is all for today and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
