Since 2009 & 2010 —when Jermaine Kearse led the Huskies in touchdowns in back to back seasons— a running back has been the top TD scorer ever year but one; 2016 when John Ross went off for 19 TDs (and Dante Pettis had 17 of his own).
Four times since 2010, a running back has hit paydirt enough times to eclipse the Husky placekicker in total points (Chris Polk, Bishop Sankey twice, and Myles Gaskin most recently in 2017).
So, go with the grain, be boring & pick a running back. You’ll likely win the prize.
