Friday Dots: CFP management committee proposes change from four-team format to a 12-team event

The current agreements for the four-team CFP extend through the 2025-26 season.

Expanded College Football Playoff?

The proposed 12-team playoff would consist of the top six conference champions, as well as six at-large teams:

Katie Rainsberger ran a time of 9 minutes and 36.71 seconds and finished second in her heat, automatically qualifying for the finals on Saturday.
