Happy Sunday Husky fans. The Husky coaches have been checking on recruits and also getting ready to start hosting some recruits in June. So far the Huskies have extended 74 offers in the 2022 class. Recently there were a couple of new offers in the class that went out.
3 star offensive lineman Parker Brailsford from Saguaro HS, AZ was just offered by the Husky coaches after checking out some of his film. Listed at 6’2” and around 275 pounds Brailsford is rated as the 21st best guard in the country. The Huskies joined Arizona, USC, Michigan State, and Oregon State in offering Brailsford. When you watch his film you can see some similarities to Nick Harris (in that he has a smaller frame but his nastiness and ‘will to’ just gets the job done). The Huskies will add at least 3 offensive lineman in the 2022 class and Brailsford sounds like he will head up here this spring to check out Montlake.

The Husky coaches also extended an offer in the desert to 3 star Athlete (outside linebacker/wide receiver) Lance Holtzclaw from Desert Ridge HS, AZ. Listed at around 6’4” and 200 pounds Holtzclaw is a bigger athlete that has a lot of explosion and speed in his game. With offers from Oregon State, Arizona, Michigan, and Vanderbilt, Holtzclaw is rated as the 36th best weakside defensive end in the country. The Huskies would love to add Holtzclaw to their outside linebacker position and give him a few years to grow into his frame. It sounds like Holtzclaw will also try and head up in June to check out Montlake.
My Junior season highlight! (6 games due to COVID) Good season can’t wait to have an even better senior year!https://t.co/rUBvWdgBhR

The Husky coaches also have been busy scouting some 2023 prospects and one of those guys got an offer this last week. 4 star quarterback Jaden Rashada from Pittsburg HS, CA was excited to get a Husky offer after being having already been offered by Penn State, Cal, and ASU. Rated as the 45th best prospect and the top rated Dual threat quarterback, Rashada has a huge arm and really looks like a man amongst boys in his sophomore film. Listed at around 6’4” and around 180 pounds, the Huskies would love to add him to the 2023 class, but there is a long ways to go and Rashada is certain to get more offers from around the country.
The last piece of news during the last week comes from the biggest target on their board. 4 star (rated by 247sports) offensive tackle Josh Conerly from Rainier Beach HS, WA narrowed his recruitment down to his top 12 list. The Huskies made the cutdown along with Oregon, Alabama, USC, Texas, ASU, Oklahoma, Michigan, UCLA, Auburn, Cal, and Stanford. The Huskies would love to add Conerly to their 2022 class and get their left tackle of the future but they have a battle on their hands to land the 2nd rated tackle in the country.
I would like to thank everyone that has given me an opportunity. I would love to announce these are the top 12 schools I am focusing on going forward pic.twitter.com/ExUWCMbelp
