Happy Sunday Husky fans. The Husky coaches are trying to wrap up spring practice, but they are still checking out prospects in their spare time.
One of the prospects that they have been keeping their eye on was offered by UW. 4 star outside linebacker Tausili Akana from Kahuku HS, HI added the UW offer to go along with offers from USC, Oregon, Oklahoma State, and Nebraska. Listed at 6’4” and around 225 pounds Akana has good size and an ideal frame to play outside linebacker. 247sports has him rated as the 91st best player in the 2023 class and the 5th best outside linebacker. The Huskies will want to find someone to replace ZTF after the 2022 season (assuming ZTF sticks around), and Akana could be a guy that bring some versatility to the position.
My sophomore season has come to an end. I am truly blessed and thankful for the opportunity I had to play the sport that I love! Click the link to see the full video https://t.co/DYCWMRaVmB #GOWASP pic.twitter.com/0kl1vya9F0

After spring practice wraps up I expect the Husky coaches to be busy working the phones and trying to line up some visits for the spring and fall (from some of their top 2022 targets). The Huskies recently announced their dates for their camps on campus, and I would expect a lot of local and out of state guys to show up and participate in their camps.
