  • The Dawgs promoted from within to fill their DC vacancy this winter, but they did bring in one external hire in Rip Rowan. I was all in when I learned that his name was “Rip Rowan.” If you need more convincing, check out Mike Vorel’s profile from the Seattle Times.

  • Speaking of shakeups, nothing has changed more for the Dawgs than the receiver room. With transfers flying in and out, there is one notable source of stability: Terrell Bynum. Lauren Kirschman takes an in-depth look at the sudden elder statesman of the group.

  • The Athletic scoured the internet for more than 50 draft big boards to create one big board to rule them all. The Consensus Draft Big Board has Levi Onwuzurike first among Dawgs at #45 with Elijah Molden and Joe Tryon close on his heels.

  • Looking ahead, UW offered local 2023 DB Caleb Presley yesterday. Presley is a borderline national top 100 prospect and checks the boxes of what UW wants in its secondary. While it’s still early, he would be a great foundational piece for that recruiting class.

  • UW failed to offer local hoops star Tari Eason when he chose to attend Cincinnati. The Huskies tried to make up for that oversight by adding Eason as a transfer, but he opted for LSU yesterday.
