Huskies Extend A New 2023 Offer

NCAA Football: Utah at Washington Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Sunday Husky fans. The Husky coaches have used their spring practices to get some local prospects to check out the team. This last week there were some more local guys (last weekend there was a big list) who made it. Among them were 3 star running back Djouvensky Schlenbaker from Squalicum Hs, WA and 4 star cornerback Caleb Presley from Eastside Catholic HS, WA.

Presley, who is rated as the 123rd best player in the country in the 2023 class, was offered by UW after attending UW’s practice. Listed at 6’0 and around 170 pounds Presley is one of the best cornerbacks in the country. With offers from Notre Dame, Oregon, and USC the Huskies will have lots of competition for Presley. The offer from UW was an offer that Presley coveted, but there is a long ways until Presley will probably make his decision. The Huskies would love to add Presley to their roster, and he’s a cover corner who could potentially also play safety if needed.

So far in the 2023 class the Huskies have offered 4 prospects from the state of Washington. The highest rated player is 5 star defensive end Jayden Wayne from Lincoln HS, WA who has offers from Auburn, Florida, LSU, Oregon, and USC. The Huskies have also offered 4 star cornerback Josiah Wagoner from Spanaway HS, WA who has offers from Oregon, Penn State, and WSU. A couple of weeks ago the Huskies extended an offer to 4 star running back Jayden Limar from Lake Stevens HS, WA. Limar currently has offers from Oregon State and Utah (as well as UW). The 2023 class is pretty loaded in the state of Washington and I would expect the Huskies to offer a few more guys before it’s all said and done.

That’s all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
