With the NFL Combine canceled this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic it has made the results of pro days infinitely more important. 6 draft-eligible former Huskies are expected to participate today and go through the normal combine measurements and drills to show off their stuff and hopefully hear their name called on draft night.
The participant list includes: DL Josiah Bronson, CB Elijah Molden, DL Levi Onwuzurike, CB Keith Taylor, QB Kevin Thomson, and OLB Joe Tryon.
6 other Dawgs who have already been eligible for the draft and will be hoping to catch on for scouts in NFL training camps this spring/summer are also going to be in attendance.
Three Huskies have appeared near the end of the 1st round in various mock drafts and have a chance to go that high with great performances today: Molden, Onwuzurike, and Tryon. Barring a disastrous showing, all three are expected to at least go in the 2nd round or early 3rd. Keith Taylor had a standout performance at the Senior Bowl and could go as high as the 3rd round if he helps himself today. It’s not expected that Josiah Bronson or Kevin Thomson are ultimately selected but a strong showing today could at least get them on team’s radars in the 7th round or as a prime spot for an undrafted free agent signing.
We’ll update this thread throughout the day as results come in so that you can keep up with how each Dawg is performing.
