Basketball Dots
- UW men’s basketball assistant Cameron Dollar announced that he will no longer be with the program. This move wasn’t difficult to see coming after Dollar didn’t travel with the team this season because of the pandemic. Dollar was in his 2nd stint with Washington after also holding an assistant’s role under Lorenzo Romar and coaching Seattle U in between. We’ll see if Mike Hopkins can find a replacement capable of helping him turn things around after 2 subpar seasons have put him on the hot seat. It won’t be easy to lure a big-time candidate though considering they have to know in the back of their mind that if things don’t improve this year that it could be one-and-done given Hop’s status.
Thank you, Cameron, for your time with the Husky program even if neither stint quite ended the way you wanted.
Thank you Huskies!

- Percy Allen gives his thoughts on what needs to happen for Washington to improve next season.
- The college basketball offseason in this day and age means searching the transfer portal for talented players with potential ties to the program. Ex-Seattle and Arizona guard Terrell Brown is grad transferring for the 2nd time.
- Washington reached out to Garfield/Federal Way star Tari Eason who was a superb defender as a true freshman for Cincinnati this past season. The Huskies will have to make up ground after never pursuing the local Eason when he was in high school.
Cincinnati freshman Tari Eason entered the transfer portal today, he told @Stockrisers. Some of the first programs to reach out include Washington, Pittsburgh, Washington State, & San Diego State.
