First thing you learn is that you always gotta wait

I’m waiting for my Dots

  • Jon Wilner ventures inland to profile Steve Sarkisian’s Texas team. He points out that Sark’s West Coast ties could lead to the Horns reaching further out of state in recruiting at the expense of teams like USC and UW.

  • On the subject of recruits not coming to UW, the Huskies appear to have made the right decision to move on from Bellevue’s Ayden Hector. The standout DB landed at WSU after allegations of inappropriate behavior in high school. After a solid freshman season, he has been suspended for minor in possession and possessing a fake ID.

  • The Seattle Times shined a spotlight a UW sport that doesn’t get much attention. Women’s Cross-Country was postponed from a fall to a spring schedule due to the pandemic, but the team is now off and running (I refuse to apologize for this pun).
