This will be brief. Just thought I would share something I wanted to look into recently. This is also a way to get it out of my brain, which will be nice.
Since 2014 (Petersen's first year), the Huskies have lost 30 games:
-20 of them have been within one score (8 points or less)
-18 of them have been by 7 points or less
-16 of them have been within 7 points
Despite the high number of close losses, UW has shown the uncanny ability of never really appearing to have been in many of these games. I suppose this is not too shocking. This is a reflection of having a good to elite defense, coupled with an offense that is just not good enough.
Ok, that's all. I'm out.
