Recruiting Roundup: Huskies Extend 2 New Offers

NCAA Football: Washington at Arizona Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Sunday Husky fans. The Husky coaches have been extending a few offers over the last few weeks, and just this last week they extended 2 new offers in the 2022 and 2023 class.

Zahquan Frazier from Coffeyville Community College was one of the prospects who got a Husky offer. Listed at 6’4” and around 185, Frazier is one of the top juco corners, and he currently holds offers from Indiana, Tennessee, and Utah. After initially committing to Souther Illinois Frazier transferred to Coffeyville and is now a starter for them. Currently he has 20 tackles, 7 pass break ups and 1 forced fumble. The Huskies are going to need and add at least 2 more defensive backs and Frazier is a guy to keep an eye on.

4 star 2022 defensive back Zeke Berry from De La Salle HS, CA was also recently offered by the Huskies. Rated as the 63rd best player and 8th best safety, Berry holds offers from a ton of programs. He’s mostly looking at schools like Oregon, Michigan and UCLA. The Huskies have their work cut out for them to try and get a visit from Berry (who has already taken 4 official visits). However, UW may be able to sneak in and get an official visit from him and add him to the 2022 class. Berry is a playmaker on both sides of the ball and he could really help the Husky defense out a lot.

Unranked 2023 linebacker Michael Montgomery from Garfield HS, WA was also recently offered by UW. Listed at 6’3” and around 230 pounds, Montgomery is one of the top linebackers in the northwest and the Huskies wanted to jump on him early (and offer him). Montgomery looks like he’s one of the top linebackers in the northwest in 2023, but did far the Huskies are the only offer for us.

That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
