Follow along with today’s CFB action right here up until the UW game tonight

Washington’s game versus UCLA isn’t until a little later tonight which means you have got a shot to watch a lot of college football today and still be able to tune in to watch the Dawgs as well.

SUGGESTED VIEWING GUIDE (all times PT)

9:00 am- #12 Oklahoma State vs. #25 Texas (-4.5), FOX

Last week’s 9am game for Texas against Oklahoma was one of the better games of the season so let’s hope round 2 against the other team in the state is just as good. The Cowboys are undefeated which has gotten them into the top-15 of the polls but they haven’t won a game by more than 11 points so far so they definitely haven’t been dominant.

Alternate game: Auburn at #13 Arkansas (-3.5), CBS

Similarly Arkansas played a ridiculous shootout thriller in the exact same spot last week against Ole Miss and now will take on an Auburn team that has been up and down under new head coach Bryan Harsin. Arkansas has my respect after going for a game winning 2-pt conversion on the last play of regulation even if they didn’t win it.

12:30 pm- #11 Kentucky at #1 Georgia (-22.5), CBS

Look, we’ve been here before. A highly ranked team plays Georgia but is still a multi-TD underdog and can’t cover the spread. The Bulldogs look like far and away the best team in the country this season. But this is a really underwhelming afternoon slate so I’m still picking this game just to watch Georgia’s dominance.

Alternate game: #19 BYU at Baylor (-5), ESPN

As I said, not exactly a great slate. BYU and Baylor both only have one loss and are future Big 12 conference-mates. That’s all I’ve got.

4:00 pm- TCU at #4 Oklahoma (-12), ABC

As Jessie would say, they can’t keep getting away with it! The sooners are now 5-0 with wins by 5 points, (76 points), 7 points, 3 points, 6 points, and 7 points. Preseason Heisman favorite has been benched in favor of #1 rated dual-threat QB Caleb Williams and we’ll see if it gives the Sooners a spark. But Oklahoma games against FBS teams have come down to the wire consistently so this is a good bet for where to park yourself before the UW game if you’re watching it on TV.

5:30 pm- UCLA at Washington (-1.5), FOX

Duh.

7:00 pm- #18 Arizona State (-1) at Utah, ESPN

The final 2 undefeated teams in Pac-12 play this season go up against each other in Pac-12 after dark. A solid nightcap on an otherwise fairly uninspiring college football lineup. But this sport always finds a way.
