UCLA 4-2 (2-1) at Washington 2-3 (1-1)
Date: Saturday, October 16th
Time: 5:30 PM PT
TV: FOX
Streaming: Foxsports.com/live
Betting Line: Washington -1.5, O/U 55. Expected Score: Washington- 28, UCLA- 27.
Watchability Score: 10 out of 10 (unbiased take 6 out of 10). The Bruins looked like they were ready to step up as one of the elite teams in the conference after an early bludgeoning of LSU but it turns out that it’s just that LSU is bad. This is a clear strength on weakness matchup as UCLA cant throw the ball and is dominant running it while UW stops the pass but gives up everything in the running game. We’ll see how stubborn the Husky defense is in not trying to commit defenders to the box.
Other Pac-12 Games
California 1-4 (0-2) at #9 Oregon 4-1 (1-1)
Date: Friday, October 15th
Time: 7:30 PM PT
TV: ESPN
Streaming: Espn.com/watch
Betting Line: Oregon -13.5, O/U 54. Expected Score: Oregon- 34, California- 20.
Watchability Score: 4 out of 10. Oregon is coming off of a loss but get to play at home against a Cal team that seems to be in freefall. This isn’t exactly a compelling matchup but you get Pac-12 football on a Friday night so be thankful for that.
Arizona 0-5 (0-2) at Colorado 1-4 (0-2)
Date: Saturday, October 16th
Time: 12:30 PM PT
TV: Pac-12 Networks
Streaming: Pac-12.com/live
Betting Line: Colorado -6.5, O/U 46. Expected Score: Colorado- 26, Arizona- 20.
Watchability Score: 10 out of 10. If you’re not a complete sicko then this is actually a 1 out of 10. There’s a non-zero chance that these 2 teams combine for 1 total conference win this season and that it’s in this game right here. Arizona lost the only QB they have who has been not outright terrible this season. Sickos, unite.
Stanford 3-3 (2-2) at Washington State 3-3 (2-2)
Date: Saturday, October 16th
Time: 4:30 PM PT
TV: ESPNU
Streaming: Espn.com/watch
Betting Line: Stanford -2, O/U 52.5. Expected Score: Stanford- 27, Washington State- 25.
Watchability Score: 6 out of 10. These are 2 just utterly perplexing teams. Both have looked terrible at times but then recovered for upset victories. There’s also a chance this is the last game we’ll get to watch with Nick Rolovich as the head coach of a college football team so we’ll see how that goes.
#18 Arizona State 5-1 (3-0) at Utah 3-2 (2-0)
Date: Saturday, October 16th
Time: 7:30 PM PT
TV: FS1
Streaming: Foxsports.com/live
Betting Line: Arizona State -1, O/U 50.5. Expected Score: Arizona State- 26, Utah- 25.
Watchability Score: 9 out of 10. Somehow after Utah’s win over USC these are now the only 2 undefeated conference teams in the Pac. Arizona State has looked like by far the best team but Utah is attempting to rally after the death of Aaron Lowe and harness that emotion into something great.
