Recruiting Roundup: Huskies Extend A Few New Offers

Huskies Extend Some New 2023 Offers

NCAA Football: Washington at Oregon State Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Sunday Husky fans. The Husky coaches have been on the road for most of the week visiting some in-state and out of state high schools during their bye week. Jimmy Lake made his way down to California, it looks like, with some of his assistants.

Coach Lake and his staff made some new offers while they hit the road. Both offers that were extended went out in the 2023 class.

4 star offensive tackle Spencer Fano from Timpview HS, UT was extended a Husky offer. Listed at 6’4” and around 240 pounds, Fano is rated as the 3rd best offensive tackle in the 2023 class. Fano already holds offers from Oregon, USC, Stanford, and Penn State. The Huskies figure to be a factor in Fano’s recruitment, but they will need to beat some big-time schools for Fano.

The Huskies also extended another new offer in Utah. Isaiah Garcia, a 6-5 and 270 pound, offensive tackle from Cyprus HS, UT was offered by the Huskies. Not rated, Garcia, who looks like one of the top lineman out west in the 2023 class. Garcia currently holds offers from Utah, BYU, and the Huskies. There is a long ways to go in his recruitment, but it looks like Garcia is a prospect Husky fans will need to keep an eye on.

It also sounds like the Huskies will try to get some unofficial visitors on campus for the UCLA game. Once we have an idea of who will be on campus we will share that list on here. That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
