Washington 2-2 (1-0) at Oregon State 3-1 (1-0)
Date: Saturday, October 2nd
Time: 6:00 PM PT
TV: Pac-12 Networks
Streaming: Pac-12.com/live
Betting Line: Washington +1.5, O/U 57.5. Expected Score: Washington- 28, Oregon St- 29.
Watchability Score: 10 out of 10 (unbiased take 7 out of 10). If Washington’s secondary were fully healthy then this would truly be a strength on strength matchup as Oregon State has the best offense in the conference and Washington has a solid case for the best defense in the conference. The winner of this game becomes the most likely challenger to Oregon in the North and you can be sure the Beavers won’t be looking past UW after they feel they were robbed in Seattle last year.
Other Pac-12 Games
USC 2-2 (1-2) at Colorado 1-3 (0-1)
Date: Saturday, October 2nd
Time: 11:00 AM PT
TV: Pac-12 Networks
Streaming: Pac-12.com/live
Betting Line: USC -7.5, O/U 51. Expected Score: USC- 29, Colorado- 22.
Watchability Score: 3 out of 10. There’s a little bit of curiosity about how USC will respond after taking a historic loss against the Beavers last weekend. Otherwise this isn’t what we would call an enticing game given that Colorado’s offense is in train wreck territory. At this exact moment it wouldn’t be a shock if these 2 finished 4th and 5th in the South.
#3 Oregon 4-0 (1-0) at Stanford 2-2 (0-1)
Date: Saturday, October 2nd
Time: 12:30 PM PT
TV: ABC
Streaming: Espn.com/watch
Betting Line: Oregon -8, O/U 57.5. Expected Score: Oregon- 33, Stanford- 25.
Watchability Score: 7 out of 10. Stanford’s offense has been competent this season with Tanner McKee at the controls and in the 3 non-Ohio State games, Oregon has had some stretches of inconsistent play. Playing at the farm always seems to trip up the Huskies and it wouldn’t be the craziest thing in the world to see Stanford give the Ducks a good game here.
Washington State 1-3 (0-1) at California 1-3 (0-1)
Date: Saturday, October 2nd
Time: 2:30 PM PT
TV: Pac-12 Networks
Streaming: Pac-12.com/live
Betting Line: California -7.5, O/U 52. Expected Score: California- 30, Washington State- 22.
Watchability Score: 2 out of 10. My hope is to not have to watch the Cougars play any game other than the Apple Cup this year. And I’m good not watching more of Cal play after last Saturday.
Arizona State 3-1 (1-0) at #20 UCLA 3-1 (1-0)
Date: Saturday, October 2nd
Time: 7:30 PM PT
TV: FS1
Streaming: Foxsports.com/live
Betting Line: UCLA -3, O/U 55.5. Expected Score: UCLA- 29, Arizona State- 26.
Watchability Score: 9 out of 10. The winner of this game becomes the favorite in the Pac-12 South and I could really see this going either way based on how each has played this season. Both teams have dominant rushing attacks so whoever can at least slow down the other’s running game should have an edge.
