The Huskies got some good news today when 4 star wide receiver Jabez Tinae from Kennedy Catholic HS, WA committed to UW. Tinae, who is rated by 247Sports as the 36th best wide receiver in the country, committed to UW over offers from USC, Oregon, ASU, and WSU. Listed at around 6’1” and 190 pounds Tinae is an elusive slot receiver who had 959 yards on 45 receptions as a junior, good for over 21 yards a reception.
Washington is set to lose just Jordan Chin to graduation but the Huskies will want to add at least 2 wideouts in the 2021 class (assuming there is some attrition). Tinae fits into the Terrell Bynum mold (more of a possession wideout who has quick burst). The Huskies will also reap the benefit of Tinae being the teammate of Sam Huard, who is also committed to UW.

Tinae is the 13th commit in the 2021 class and it looks like there are around 7 spots left in the class (there are only 12 seniors, but the Huskies will probably have some early NFL entrants such as potentially Cade Otton, Jaxson Kirkland, and Joe Tryon).
