The Huskies got some great news today when 4 star offensive lineman Owen Prentice from O’Dea HS, WA committed to UW over offers from Stanford, LSU, and USC. Listed at 6’3” and around 295 pounds Prentice is rated as the 8th best guard and 115th best prospect in the country.
When you watch Prentice play you can really tell how much of a mauling blocker he is. He uses leverage and his strength really well and Scott Huff will have another excellent lineman to add to the great haul from the 2020 class. Prentice will play either guard or center for UW when he arrives at Montlake.
The Huskies will probably lose 2 linemen after the 2020 season (Luke Wattenberg is a senior and Jaxson Kirkland is a possible NFL pick), and they currently have 2 committed in the class (Prentice and Tackle Robert Wyrsch).

Prentice is the 14th commit in the 2021 class, and helped bump up the class into the top 25 Nationally.
That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
