Happy Easter Husky fans. Husky coaches have been busy on the recruiting front and they have been spreading a wide net with a lot of offers especially in the 2022 class. Here is a quick rundown of what has happened:

2022 4 star wide receiver/athlete Tobias Merriweather from Union HS, WA was offered by Coach Jimmy Lake this last week. Listed at around 6’4” and around 175 pounds Merriweather is rated by 247sports as 131st best player in the country. Merriweather currently holds offers from Cal, Oregon, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and USC. The Huskies appear to be one of the early favorites for Merriweather who is one of the top players in the 2022 class.

4 star 2022 tight end Carsen Ryan from Timpview HS, UT was also offered by UW this last week. Listed at 6’4” and around 235 pounds Ryan is rated by 247sports as the 234th best player in the country. With offers from Nebraska, Tennessee, ASU, and Arkansas Ryan is one of the top tight ends in the 2022 class and the Huskies are after. The Huskies are also after one of his teammates in 4 star outside linebacker Logan Fano (who is giving the Huskies a long look).

2022 4 star offensive tackle Earnest Greene from St John Bosco HS, CA was also another 2022 player that received a Husky offer. Listed at 6’4” and around 300 pounds Greene is rated by 247sports as the 19th best player in the 2022 class. The Huskies joined Michigan, LSU, Oklahoma, USC, and Oregon in offering Greene who figures to be one of the most heavily recruited players on the west coast. The Huskies have good luck getting a few players out of St John Bosco recently including 2020 Husky signee James Smith, Trent McDuffie, and Sean McGrew.

The Huskies also extended several other offers around the country for the 2022 class including 4 Star safety Trejon Williams From Jefferson HS, OR, 4 star defensive end Malick Sylla from Katy HS, TX, 4 star cornerback Jaheim Singletary from Robert E Lee HS, FL (who is the top corner in Florida), 4 star defensive end Anthony Lucas from Chapparal HS, AZ, and 4 star defensive end Gracen Helton from St Augustine HS, CA. All of these players are certain to give the Huskies a long look but Williams, Lucas, and Helton especially are guys that we should keep an eye on down the road.

That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
