I would hope that given that these two teams squared off on Saturday night that you don’t require much in the way of an advanced scouting preview. Check out my preview before Saturday’s game or the game recap itself if you missed that contest and want to get a feel for how things went.

The stakes are simple. If Washington loses this game then their season is over and it will be the last time Isaiah Stewart, Sam Timmins, and Jaden McDaniels play a game in a Husky uniform. If they win then the Dawgs will take on #4 seed USC at the same time on Thursday. It will take 4 wins in 4 days for Washington to make the NCAA tournament. It’s not the craziest thing in the world to suggest that a close loss in the Pac-12 title game might still merit an NIT berth at 18-17 but realistically bringing home the trophy is the only way to ensure postseason play.

Oh, and the last time these 2 teams met in the Pac-12 tournament? Glad you asked. It gives me a reason to share this. Not that you ever need a reason.
