Happy Tuesday Husky fans. I was recently able to talk with 2022 three star tight end Chance Bogan from Lincoln HS, WA. Bogan committed to UW back in September. Rated as the 17th best tight end in the 2022 class Bogan was a big pickup for the Huskies. Here is what Bogan has to say about UW and his recruitment.
What schools were recruiting you besides UW?
Well the day before I committed I got an offer from oregon state and UCLA was heavy on the letters and Interest.
What coach recruited you to UW and what sold you on the program?
Coach Cato was the first to talk to me but I’ve known coach Ford since SFU and I love coach lake. With the coaches it already feels like family and my brothers are gonna be there along my side for the ride so it’s just a special connection over there.
What do you think of the new offense?
I love how there getting the TEs involved I see Cade racking up numbers and I see the split TE set and that suits me well.
You are a pretty versatile player. Where does UW see you playing? More in line or split out?
After talking to Cato I’ll be used at both and just be a hybrid type player for the O.
Which player do you think your game resembles? (For fans to compare you to)?
I suppose if my game is comparable to any player it’s my big bro Hunter Bryant.
Are you recruiting any other guys to UW? If so, who you working on?
I got some home town hero’s thinking hard about UW but I’ll keep names out to be respectful.
Lastly, are you planning on enrolling early?
I haven’t thought much about enrolling early yet but that is a big possibility.
Bogan is joined in the 2022 class by 4 star wide receiver Germie Bernard from Liberty HS, NV. Here are some of Bogan’s highlights from this last year.
That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp
