- The big UW football news over the weekend was the verbal commitment of two 2022 recruits out of Liberty HS (NV), 3-star OLB Anthony Jones and 3-star DT Sir Mells. This is Washington’s third 2022 recruit from Liberty, after their teammate, 4-star WR Germie Bernard, committed about six months ago.
