Quentin Moore is a Husky!

The Huskies add an athletic pass catching TE to the roster.

NCAA Football: Utah at Washington Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

The lone junior college prospect of this recruiting class has made it official with Washington.

Typically JC players aren’t the focus for Washington in recruiting but Moore is originally from Inglemoor High School in Kenmore so there was a natural connection. He needed some time after high school to get his academics in order and he found a home at Independence Community College in Kansas. The 247 Sports composite graded Moore out as the top JC tight end in the country and #7 overall as a fringe 3/4-star prospect.

As a player, the Huskies are getting someone who certainly looks the part at 6-6 and 245 pounds. With Cade Otton potentially off to the NFL, Moore could provide an easy transition by being an athletic threat in the pass game. He garnered a pretty good amount of recruiting interest with the likes of Florida State, Miami, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, and Tennessee offering him. If you’re looking for an early impact player from this class, Moore could be the guy.

Welcome to Montlake, Quentin!
