Join us to talk about all the action going on across the college football world this Saturday

Welcome to a college football Saturday featuring a game being played by the Washington Huskies. Last week it was good to say those words and it still feels good this week. If you’re looking for somewhere to be in the leadup to the UW game, why not on the couch watching college football and interacting with your fellow Husky fans right here?

Here’s your viewing guide for some of the best games happening at each time slot.

9:00a PT- #9 Indiana at #3 Ohio State (-20.5), FOX

Ah yes, just your totally normal matchup of top-ten teams featuring Indiana football. It feels good to get back to normal in such a crazy 2020, right? Wait a second...

Ohio State is still almost a 3 touchdown favorite which should tell you just about everything you need to know about Indiana’s current fraudulent status. Their wins? Last second maybe should’ve lost against winless Penn State. 16 points over Rutgers. 17 points against suddenly a tire fire Michigan. 24 points against not good Michigan State. It may be a crazy long shot to think the Hoosiers have a chance but by god do I want it to happen. Let’s go Penix (and yes, that’s Indiana’s QB’s name)!

Backup Option: Appalachian State at #15 Coastal Carolina (-5), ESPN2

It may be the Sun Belt but it’s 6-1 versus 7-0 and the other game featuring a ranked team has a point spread of 30+. So if you just want pure carnage and decimation flip over to Florida against Vanderbilt.

12:30p PT- #10 Wisconsin (-7.5) at #19 Northwestern, ABC

We get another ranked team vs. ranked team Big 10 showdown to follow with another mainstay and another probably fraudulent team. Wisconsin had to shut down for a few weeks due to a COVID outbreak but have looked awesome when they’ve played. Northwestern is undefeated and hasn’t given up more than 20 points in a game yet this season. They’ll have a tougher time though trying to contain Graham Mertz and a Wiscy offense averaging 47 points per game.

Backup Option: #7 Cincinnati (-5.5) at Central Florida, ESPN

The Bearcats are trying to sneak into the College Football Playoff given this year’s insanity which means they need a blowout win in this spot. You could also watch Oregon/UCLA (ESPN2) or Cal/Oregon State (FS1) if you want to stay in the Pac-12.

5:00p PT- Arizona at Washington (11.5), FOX

Duh.

Backup Option: None. Come on.

But the game most people in the country will be watching is #14 Oklahoma State at #18 Oklahoma on ABC at 4:30p. You can watch the first half hour before the UW starts I guess.

7:30p PT- #20 USC (-3) at Utah, ESPN

You’ve got to say this about USC, they’ve certainly been entertaining even if they aren’t particularly good. The Trojans had to mount furious late comebacks against both Arizona schools in each program’s season opener and yet again face a Pac-12 opponent who hasn’t been on the field yet. It’ll be a tough test for the Utes who lost a ton from last year’s team and have had totally disjointed practices due to a large swath of the team either catching COVID-19 or being forced to isolate the last two weeks. It’ll be tough to draw many conclusions from this game unless Utah dominates start to finish given all the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the Ute program right now.
