Football Dots

  • Mike Vorel of the Seattle Times has confirmed that ex-Stanford QB K.J Costello will be on campus today visiting the University as he decides where to transfer. Costello was 2nd team all Pac-12 as a sophomore and was viewed as a potential 1st round pick if he put up similar results in 2019. Unfortunately he struggled with injuries and lost his job to Davis Mills leading him to seek a transfer.
  • Stewart Mandel at The Athletic gave the Huskies an A- grade for their hire of Jimmy Lake to replace Chris Petersen.
  • 3-star defensive back out of Lake Stevens, Kasen Kinchen committed to a PWO offer with the Huskies. He had early scholarship offers from Cal and Oregon but didn’t commit while there was time and decided to become a walk-on at UW rather than head to a Hawai’i or Utah State.
  • A 6’3 2021 DB out of California will be on campus this week for an unofficial visit

Washington Athletics Dots

  • Women’s softball will start the season with targets on their backs and that’s not a bad thing.
  • It’s my turn for Dots which means giving congratulations to the UW Sundodgers Men’s Ultimate team for taking home the title at the Santa Barbara Invite this past weekend. The UW Element Women’s Ultimate team finished in 5th place at the event.
