After a tough loss last night there was a little bit of a silver lining on the recruiting front. The Huskies offered 2021 4 star offensive guard Owen Prentice from O’Dea HS, WA. Prentice who is listed at 6’3” and around 280 pounds is being recruited as an offensive guard. Prentice who has offers from Cal, USC, and Oregon State is one of the top prospects in the state of Washington in the 2021 class. It looks like UW has a good chance to land Prentice and keep him home.
WOW!!! I am truly excited to announce I have received an offer from the hometown school!! The University Of Washington #WOOF pic.twitter.com/98NKH2JaZt

The 2021 class in the state of Washington is loaded and the Huskies are hoping to load up next year on those top prospects. The Huskies have already offered 5 star defensive end JT Tuimoloau, 5 Star wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, 4 star linebacker Julien Simon, and 4 star safety Will Latu. They already have a commitment from 5 star quarterback Sam Huard, and it looks like UW is doing well for almost all of the 2021 prospects that they are after in the state of Washington.
Also, there was an impressive list of unofficial visitors at the game including 5 star linebacker Sav’ell Smalls from Garfield HS, WA as well as a bunch of current Husky commits with Ethan Garbers, Sam Huard, Geiran Hatchett, Roger Rosengarten in town to watch the game. It’s probably a blessing that the Huskies didn’t have a big recruiting weekend with lots of official visitors (due to the weather and outcome of the game).
That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
