It seemingly happens once a season. The Huskies go on the road and play their “C” game and it’s enough for them to inexplicably go down to a less talented opponent. Last year that game happened in Berkeley against the Golden Bears. You can bet that the Huskies will be motivated not to let it happen again. Especially not at Husky Stadium where the team hasn’t lost since 2016. But Cal boasts a veteran defense which will be among the best in the conference and which stifled the Huskies last year. With Jacob Eason now manning the controls the Dawgs hope that won’t be an issue again.
