Packers: Kevin King made one of the biggest plays of the game to seal Green Bay’s win over Minnesota, making a lunging interception on an ill-advised throw from Kirk Cousins in the back corner of the end zone when the Vikings were looking for a fourth-quarter go-ahead touchdown.
Seahawks: After leaving early with an injury in week 1, Will Dissly had a huge part in Seattle’s narrow win at Pittsburgh, catching five passes for 50 yards and the Seahawks’ first two touchdowns of the game. Ben Burr-Kirven played on special teams but did not record any stats.
Falcons: Desmond Trufant had a great day in Atlanta’s Sunday Night win over Philadelphia, intercepting Carson Wentz twice in the first half and defending three other passes. OT Kaleb McGary started, left with a knee injury in the second quarter, but returned to the game in the fourth.
Eagles: Sidney Jones made his first career interception in Philly’s loss at Atlanta, giving former Huskies all three turnovers forced in the first half of the game.
Bengals: One of very few bright spots in Cincinnati’s big loss to San Francisco, John Ross continued his hot start, catching four passes for 112 yards and another touchdown, already his third of the season.
49ers: Dante Pettis played very little in San Francisco’s blowout win at Cincinnati, but had one unusual highlight, completing a 16-yard pass to Raheem Mostert after receiving a lateral from Jimmy Garoppolo.
Cardinals: Budda Baker was in on 11 tackles, including forcing and recovering a fumble on the same play in Arizona’s loss at Baltimore. Byron Murphy made seven tackles and earned the first two pass deflections of his NFL career. Zeke Turner made a tackle on special teams.
Rams: Cory Littleton made a team-high eight tackles and defensed two passes in Los Angeles’ easy win over New Orleans, while Taylor Rapp had six and one, respectively. Marcus Peters deflected a pass as well. Greg Gaines made his NFL debut in the Rams’ defensive-line rotation but accumulated no stats.
Patriots: Danny Shelton recorded his first sack since 2016, also earning praise from Pro Football Focus for generating three pressures on just 11 passing attempts while in the game as New England routed Miami.
Dolphins: Myles Gaskin was once again a healthy scratch, as he is buried on the Dolphins depth chart.
Bucs: Vita Vea assisted on four tackles and helped the Tampa Bay defense stiffen up on multiple third-and-short situations in a win at Carolina.
Panthers: Shaq Thompson made eight tackles (five solo) in Carolina’s loss to Tampa Bay.
Texans: G Senio Kelemete started in Houston’s week 1 MNF loss to New Orleans, but missed week 2’s narrow win over Jacksonville with a wrist injury.
Broncos: OLB Keishawn Bierria played on special teams in Denver’s first two games, but has not recorded any stats.
