For those that might have missed the initial announcement, this year throughout the season readers across the SB Nation network will get to fill out their own top-25 poll as we see whether the populace is smarter than the hapless assistants frantically filling out the Coaches poll each week. It’s not too late to partake and if you’d like to sign up you can DO SO HERE.
The Huskies slot in one place behind the Oregon Ducks as the top team in the conference with Utah close behind at #15 and no one else in the bottom of the rankings. This might be a common theme we see throughout the year as the number of fans from Pac-12 sites lags behind the other conferences at the moment. However, Washington State did essentially place 26th as the next receiving votes while Stanford was ostensibly 29th.
Washington fans unsurprisingly were either higher on or neutral towards all of the Pac-12 teams except for Oregon. The Huskies rank 10th on the UWDP-only ballot while the Ducks slid to 14th, Utah stayed at 15th, Stanford leapt to 25th, and the Cougars remained at 26th.
The Huskies moved up a single spot to 12th on the ballots of both Utah and Washington State fans. In both cases Oregon slid to 14th but unsurprisingly Utes fans had their team leapfrogging the Huskies at 11th.
