#Woof: Huskies Land 4-Star OL

Myles Murao, a 4-star offensive lineman from California, has committed to the Washington Huskies.

Myles Murao, a 4-star offensive lineman from Santa Ana Mater Dei in California, has just created some 4th of July fireworks for Husky fans after verbally committing to Washington.

Make no mistake about it, this is a huge pick up for the Dawgs. Many in the know believe that Murao is the single most talented offensive lineman on the West Coast this year. The 6’2” 306 lbs. rising senior plays left tackle for Mater Dei, a powerhouse high school program, indicating his elite athleticism. However, given his height, Murao projects as a center in college. In the past, he has commented on the fact that current Washington center Nick Harris will graduate after next season, allowing for the potential of early playing time.

Murao recently took his official visit to Washington in June, after having already visited campus several times. He is now the Huskies’ third OL commit in this class, and the coaching staff is expected to take one more in this cycle. Murao chose the Huskies over offers from other national programs including Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Texas A&M, UCLA, and USC, among many others.

Now, please enjoy one of the more unique commitment videos I’ve ever seen:
