The Husky coaches got some welcome news today when 4 star offensive tackle Roger Rosengarten from Valor Christian HS, CO committed to UW over offers from major program like Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Oregon. Rosengarten recently visited his two finalists, Oregon and Washington, the last two weekends and decided to commit to UW after hearing about the OKG program and hanging out with other Husky targets on his official visit. Listed at around 6’7” and 275 pounds, Rosengarten is rated by 247sports as the 91st overall player and 11th best tackle in the country.

The Huskies are in the market for 2 tackles to replace both Trey Adams and Jared Hilbers in the 2020 class and Rosengarten fills the void that will be left by Trey Adams nicely. When you watch his film you can see why he was so coveted. Rosengarten is very athletic but can still put someone on their back when he gets engaged. He looks like a future D1 left tackle in the making and has a ton of potential. The Huskies are very happy to land Rosengarten and he is one of the gems of the class already.

Rosengarten is the 6th commit for the class of what is expected to be a class of 21-22 players. That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
