It’s been a long and difficult road for Kaleb McGary but he’s officially an NFL player after being selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the 31st pick in the 1st round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Atlanta traded up with the Los Angeles Rams in order to draft him. McGary is the first Husky offensive lineman selected since Senio Kelemete was taken in the 5th round back in 2012. The last time a UW O-Lineman was taken in the 1st round was Lincoln Kennedy who went 9th overall way back in 1993.
With the 31st pick of the #NFLDraft, we have selected OL Kaleb McGary.

Kaleb won the 2018 Morris Trophy given to the best offensive lineman in the Pac-12 as voted by his peers. Congratulations to Kaleb and the McGary family who deserve this day and the signing bonus that will come with it. Go Dawgs!
