#Woof: Huskies Land A California QB In the 2020 Class

This morning Coach Pete let Husky fans know that he had received a verbal commitment from 3 star quarterback Ethan Garbers from Corona Del Mar HS, CA. Garbers, who is listed at 6’2” and around 200 pounds, committed to UW over offers from UCLA, Miami, Georgia, Utah, and WSU. According to Maxpreps Garbers threw for over 4,100 yards last season and 55 touchdowns (with 8 interceptions). Based on his offer sheet, and stats last year I expect Garbers to push closer to a 4 star. Garbers is teammates and close friends with 3 star tight end Mark Redman who will join Garbers to visit UW in April. When you watch Garbers film you can see that he is a true pocket passer that is very accurate. Getting Garbers in the boat early was a great get for the Huskies and will help the Huskies chances with Redman and other top offensive targets in the class.
