The Huskies landed a very good class on Wednesday, but they have been waiting on 1 recruits decision. That recruit happens to be 4 star wide receiver Puka Nacua our of Orem HS, UT. Nacua is a very important recruit for the Huskies since they have only brought in 1 wide receiver in the 2019 class. Nacua, who is rated by 247 sports as a top 50 player, visited UW a few weeks ago. Listed at 6’2” and around 190 pounds Nacua is scheduled to announce his decision at 9:45 PST on a local television station. He will be deciding between USC, UCLA, Utah, BYU, Oregon, and UW. Recent reports have been saying that this could be a Utah and UW battle right now.

After Nacua makes his decision Husky coaches will turn their full attention to the 2020 class which is shaping up to be a banner year for the State of Washington. Here are some of the top prospects the Huskies are after in the 2020 class (note: this isn’t a comprehensive list):
5 Star defensive end Sav’ell Smalls from Garfield HS, WA is the top recruit in the state and he has offers from around the country. 247 sports has him rated as the 4th best player in the class. The Huskies would love to land Smalls but have stiff competition.
5 star cornerback Kelee Ringo out of Saguar HS, AZ is one of the top players in the 2020 class. Ringo is actually originally from Tacoma, moved to Arizona a few years ago. Ringo has offers from around the country but is very interested in UW.
5 star linebacker Justin Flowe from Upland HS, CA has a Husky offer and is looking heavily at UW. Flowe is one of the most physical players in the class, and it will be tough for UW to reel him in, but they have a fighting chance.
5 star wideout Johnny Wilson from Calabasas HS, CA recently narrowed his list of schools to a top 5 which included UW. The other schools he is looking at are Oregon, UCLA, Ohio State, and Texas.

4 star offensive lineman Geirean Hatchett from Ferndale HS, WA who is rated as the 3rd best player in the state of Washington. UW has heavy competition, with Oklahoma being their primary competitor.
4 star running back Sam Adams, and 4 star cornerback Ayden Hector both from Eastside Catholic are looking heavily at UW but they also have offers from around the country. Eastside Catholic is loaded with talent and Adams and Hector are the primary players in the 2020 class that UW is after.
A lot of the local prospects the Huskies are after in the 2020 class were on campus last weekend for the Husky Basketball game.
