  • The Huskies will finish their season in the Las Vegas Bowl against Boise St on December 21st. The official team site has all the details on the game, the broadcast, and tickets. If you were planning to travel to the bowl game no matter what, congratulations on getting Las Vegas over El Paso or December in Northern California.

  • Christian Caple wrote about the indelible connection between Petersen’s past, present, and future that will be on display in the bowl game, even if it’s the last thing he wants.

  • Also from Caple, Petersen announced at his press conference that Hunter Bryant and Trey Adams will sit out the bowl game, but that Jacob Eason intends to play.

  • At Hec Ed, the Dawgs hosted #9 Gonzaga on Sunday night. The Huskies pushed the Zags all the way to the end, but some clutch threes by the visitors secured an 83-76 win. The Times has a game recap with video.

  • The men’s soccer team went up 1-0 over Georgetown in the national quarterfinal in DC. The Hoyas answered back with two goals to advance to the College Cup and end the Huskies’ season.

  • The volleyball team will play on. After a Saturday win over South Carolina, they will travel to Waco, Texas for the Sweet 16 against Kentucky on Friday.
