Excitement Rating: 10/10 (I will always give UW a 10/10 in the excitement rating. Actual score 10/10...) Despite what were surely the intense prayers by Chris Petersen to get any other opponent in his final game as Washington’s coach we ended up with the matchup the networks wanted. Petersen’s former time against his current team in what could be his final game as a college football head coach. The on field intrigue is certainly less than the coaching intrigue as nearly every coach on both sidelines has some tie to Petersen and he helped turn Boise State in a powerhouse during his time there.
Washington will be without Trey Adams and Hunter Bryant who are both skipping the game to focus on the NFL Draft. That may have serious negative implications for a Husky offense that mostly limped to the finish line during the regular season. Boise has some issues on offense of their own as they did some rotating at QB this year despite only losing the single game.
Betting Line: Washington is a 3.5 point favorite and the Over/Under is 49.5 which means the betting public expects a score of Washington 27, Boise State 23.
