During a bye week the Husky coaches were out on the road watching some current Husky commits play in some of their playoff games. Also happening this week was another Husky commit being named an Army All American. So far the Huskies have 4 commits that participate in the Army All American game. Here is a look at who will be participating in the game:

4 star wide receiver Jalen McMillan from San Joaquin Memorial HS, CA was named an Army All American this week after a strong senior season. McMillan, who is a national top 50 player, was a huge commitment for UW. McMillan picked UW over Alabama, USC, Notre Dame, And Oklahoma.

4 star offensive lineman Roger Rosengarten from Valor Christian HS, CO was selected as an Army All American as well. The Huskies were able to steal Rosengarten away from Oregon at the last second (after wowing him on his visit). Rosengarten also has offers from Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma. 247 sports has Rosengarten rated as the 85th best player in the country. Rosengarten is a pro typical left tackle and should be a fixture on the line for the Huskies for several years.

4 star offensive lineman Myles Murao from Mater Dei HS, CA will join Rosengarten on the line at San Antonio. With offers from around the country including USC, Alabama, LSU, and Oklahoma the Huskies were able to land Murao who projects as a center for the Huskies. Murao is rated by 247sports as the 120th best player in the country. Right after the Army game Murao will fly to Seattle and enroll at UW in January.

4 star running back Sam Adams from Eastside Catholic HS, WA is also slated to join his future teammates down in San Antonio. Rated by 247sports as the 111th best player in the country, Adams chose UW over offers from Alabama, Florida, and Ohio State. Adams projects as a running back for the Huskies however he has been mainly playing defense during his senior season (which speaks to his athletic ability, and position versatility).

5 star linebacker Sav’ell Smalls from Garfield HS, WA is also participating in an all star game, however he is playing in the Under Armour All American Game in Florida. There are several other commits that are playing in other all star games including the Polynesian All American game.

In other news the Huskies extended a new offer to 4 star (as rated by 247 sports) Ramon Henderson from Liberty HS, CA. Henderson is rated as an athlete and he has the ability to play defensive back or wideout for the Huskies (it sounds like the Huskies like him on defense) Henderson currently has offers from Tennessee, Oklahoma, UCLA, and Notre Dame. Listed at 6’2” and around 185 pounds Henderson has good size and has had a really strong senior season and improved his recruiting stock. The Huskies will more than likely host Henderson for an official visit and should be in the running for his commitment.

After the commitment of offensive lineman Sam Peacock this week the Huskies have 21 commitments in the 2020 class and it is looking more and more that will take close to a full class (24-25 players).

That is all for now and as always follow me @asieverkropp.
