Lions: WR Marvin Hall caught a long pass for the fourth week in a row, hauling in a 49-yard touchdown from Matthew Stafford as Detroit knocked off the Giants. Hall has been targeted just seven times in four weeks, but has caught five of them, averaging a whopping 40.2 yards per reception.

Saints: RB Dwayne Washington had his first three carries of the season late in New Orleans’ easy win over Arizona and impressed with a pair of broken tackles on a 31-yard jaunt. Washington has mostly just played on special teams, but has seen some time in the backfield the past two weeks with starter Alvin Kamara out.

Cardinals: FS Budda Baker made a season-high 14 tackles including a TFL as Arizona lost to New Orleans. His 14 tackles are the second-highest total of his career, only behind 16 vs the 49ers in week 5 of 2018. CB Byron Murphy had six tackles. TE Darrell Daniels saw a few offensive snaps for the third week in a row but had no stats.

Patriots: DT Danny Shelton had four tackles each in New England’s wins over the Jets (week 7 MNF) and then Sunday night vs the Browns.

Buccaneers: DT Vita Vea had three tackles, including his first non-sack TFL of the season, as Tampa Bay lost a close game at Tennessee.

Rams: S Taylor Rapp played on every defensive snap for the first time in his career and had a career-high 12 tackles as LA knocked off Cincinnati in London. LB Cory Littleton added eight tackles including a half-sack. C Coleman Shelton saw limited time on special teams.

Bengals: TE Drew Sample played just 8% of offensive snaps, his lowest usage since week 1, and recorded no stats as Cincinnati fell to the Rams in London.

Falcons: T Kaleb McGary has taken lumps at times as a rookie, including in Atlanta’s loss to Seattle, but is adapting well in practice to a different style of pass-blocking, writes Matt Winkeljohn of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

49ers: WR Dante Pettis caught one of three targets for five yards as San Francisco blew out Carolina.

Panthers: OLB Shaq Thompson had just a season-low four tackles in Carolina’s noncompetitive loss to San Francisco.

Packers: CB Kevin King struggled somewhat after a few weeks of really playing well, although he did have five tackles in a win over the Chiefs.

Eagles: A week after he was a healthy scratch due to major struggles, CB Sidney Jones played regularly as the nickel back for Philadelphia with sub-optimal but not terrible coverage (no stats) as the Eagles won at Buffalo.

Byes: CB Marcus Peters (Ravens)

Injury Report: Falcons CB Desmond Trufant missed his third game in a row as Atlanta fell to Seattle. The Falcons have a bye in week 9, but it is unclear if he will return in week 10 at New Orleans.

MNF: none
