- Brian Bennett writing for the Pac-12 Hotline writes that the Huskies are legitimate even if the rest of the Pac-12 isn’t.
- Joe Lunardi updated his bracketology and he has Washington as a #8 seed playing...Syracuse. The committee says they don’t factor in storylines when setting up the bracket but if that eventually came to pass it would be one of the bigger games of the opening Thursday/Friday of March Madness.
Football Dots
- Over at the Mothership someone decided that the official Washington state football champion for 2018 is...the Washington State Cougars. Riiiiight...
- Chantel Jennings at The Athletic ($) has a new edition of Best Coast in which she talks about how the Huskies have been able to hold on to Jimmy Lake despite him obviously having many opportunities elsewhere.
- The Huskies received a commitment last night from Hunter Hansen, an OLB out of Bellevue High who is accepting a PWO spot. He shared his thoughts on the commitment with Scott Eklund over at Dawgman. Welcome Hunter!

- A pair of 4-star recruits who were here on official visits over the weekend appeared to have a great time. Both spoke to the recruiting analysts at 247 in the last few days. Here’s Daniel Heimuli’s trip report, and Puka Nacua’s trip report. Blair Angulo put in a CB for Heimuli to Washington not too long after talking to him. Hmm...
Thank you to the University of Washington for an unforgettable visit.
